Sleeping with layers of clothes on causes the body to heat up. There is a reason why the scrotum that contains testicles (which produce sperm) is located outside the body. Testicles are sensitive to temperature, and need comparatively cooler temperatures for proper functioning, which is why they are located just outside the body. Sleeping naked allows the body to cool, and thus maintain a healthy sperm count. This is extremely beneficial in the long run.

Airing the body and all its corners and crevices is essential. The growth of fungal and bacterial infections in private parts is very common, especially in hot and humid climes. Wearing tight clothes throughout the day makes it worse. While that can’t be helped, one should shed off the layers of clothes, especially tight underwear, at night while sleeping and let one’s skin breathe.

When we sleep, our body temperature goes down, but wearing clothes interferes with this process. Sleeping in the nude helps cool down the body faster, and therefore, promotes better sleep. Our brain needs a cool temperature to relax the body, and shedding clothes helps it do that better.

Not to mention increased possibilities of a little action in bed. Cotton USA conducted a survey of 1000 British people and concluded that those who slept in their birthday suits were happier in their relationship.
